Mother, son beaten for abusing neighbours’ goat

A woman and her son, who had driven their neighbours’ goat out of their house, were allegedly beaten up by the animal’s owners in Bhojpur area of Ghaziabad , police said on Saturday.

Shanno and her son Aamir were severely beaten by their neighbours on Saturday evening after they drove the neighbours’ goat out of their house with a stick, the local police said.

The goat belonged to Yakub, who along with his son, thrashed the mother-son duo with iron rods, the police said, adding that a case has been registered against the goat’s owners and the search for the culprits is on as they are absconding.

The victims were admitted to a local private hospital in Modinagar, the police said.
