PREDICTING A gloomy scenario for the Samajwadi Party in the upcoming UP Assembly election, national president of Jan Morcha and Member of Parliament Raj Babbar said here that Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav was a fragmented idol and Uttar Pradesh had turned into a centre for corruption where crime was flourishing. He further said that all recruitments were limited to the people of Eta, Etawah, Mainpuri and Kannauj. Why the applicants from other districts were not getting job, he asked.

Talking to mediapersons, Raj Babbar referred to the statement of Amitabh Bachchan in which he had compared Mulayam with god. Babbar said no one was ready to carry the broken idol of Mulayam and he had not place in the temple of people. He even said that those who were comparing Mulayam with god, were to be allotted 300-acre land in Barabanki district.
He claimed that Mukti Sangram Yatra started from Fazilnagar town of Kushinagar district was getting tremendous response from people. He said the issues raised by Jan Morcha leaders were vital and even Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Union Minister Kamal Nath had agreed that constitution of special economic zones would increase the problems of farmers.
Hitting hard at the SP government policies, he claimed that Jan Morcha would play a crucial role in the formation of the next government in UP. Jan Morcha was in favour of framing a law that farmers’ land could not be acquired without of farmers’ consent.
Responding to a question, he said that Rs 500 unemployment allowances was to pacify angry youths and demanded that the State government should start recruitment against 5 lakh vacant posts.
He also condemned Mulayam government’s apathetic attitude in providing medical assistance to the victims of dreaded Japanese Encephalitis (JE) disease. Babbar also addressed a public meeting in the minority dominated area in Rasoolpur and appealed to the people to pray to god to get rid off of the SP government.
Babbar also visited BRD Medical College to get the first hand information on the plight of suspected JE patients in the medical college.
