The big screen adaptation of Dan Brown’s book The Da Vinci Code may have survived religious bans, but it may just lose the battle because of actor Tom Hanks’ lank hairdo.

A source said that the Hollywood star’s receding hairline, kept that way to make him look more like the academic Robert Langdon, has completely missed the mark with test audiences, and has now become the talk of tinsel town.

“Much of the talk is about the hair. It’s too late to fix it,” The Sun quoted the source, as saying.

The £125 million is set to hit theatre screens next month.
