New York-based publisher Simon and Schuster is completely tight-lipped about the book?s contents.

Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf’s autobiography is slated for launch on September 25, but its New York-based publisher Simon and Schuster is completely tight-lipped about the book’s contents and other details.

Turning down newspapers and media houses’ requests for a copy of the book for a review, the publisher’s spokesman reportedly said that all such inquiries should be made to the “Pakistani publisher”.

She even declined to mention the name of the Pakistani publishers, saying the matter had not yet been finalised but was being negotiated.

“The negotiations would be completed in a few weeks. Review copies would be sent out to US publications only on September 25,” the Daily Times quoted her as saying.
