National symposium on ethics from Sept 1

THE National Judicial Academy, Bhopal and the Administrative Reforms Commission, will hold a national symposium on `Ethics in Government - Moving from Rhetoric to Results’ in Bhopal on September 1 and 2.

Former Chief Justice of India, JS Verma will inaugurate the symposium on. Prominent personalities including Chairman, Administrative Reforms Commission, Veerapa Moily, Union Minister of State for Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Suresh Pachouri and Director, National Judicial Academy, Prof G Mohan Gopal will address the symposium.

Chief Justice of India Justice YK Sabharwal will deliver the valedictory address on September 2. Other dignitaries who will also attend the symposium include State Lokayuktas, Members of the Central Vigilance Commission, senor officers of Central Bureau of Investigations, Chiefs of State Anti-Corruption Bureaus, representatives of civil societies and officers of the departments concerned. Several judges of High Courts from across the country will also be attending the symposium.
