The US-based job site has over 23 million unique visitors with about 1.5 million jobs vacancies while naukri.com has a database of more than 6.5 million registered users with job postings from over 20,000 corporations and 180 million page views per month, a company release said in New Delhi.

The online job market in India currently stands at $33 million and is expected to reach $53 million next year, with a 60 per cent year-over-year growth rate, the statement said.

"The agreement will allow both the companies to post links to each other's sites, streamline the job posting process and offer centralized billing," the company said.

"The partnership will make it easier for both companies and job seekers to exchange information in a quick and effective manner," Naukri.com senior Vice President and Head of International sales Vineet Singh said.

India has the second largest workforce in the world with 482 million employed people, he said.
