Chief Judicial Magistrate Rahu Rao also directed the police to produce Param Dharm Ashram chief Chandra Mohan Maharaj in court before October 21.

According to the prosecution, police had filed a case against Mohan for allegedly murdering his wife Anjali and a follower, Ramawatar, near the Ashram in Muzaffarnagar on October 25, 2005.

Earlier, Mohan had alleged that unidentified persons had shot dead the two while they were travelling in a car with him but the State Director General of Police had ordered a re-investigation.
