NDA to meet President Kalam on Bihar issue

The NDA delegation, led by Advani and Fernandes, will meet the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 2.30 pm.

Senior NDA leaders will meet President APJ Abdul Kalam on Wednesday to demand the immediate resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

NDA'sdemand comesin the wake of the Supreme Court's judgement in the Bihar Assembly dissolution case.

The NDA delegation, led by Leader of opposition LK Advani and NDA Convener George Fernandes, will meet the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 14:30 hours, sources said.

Fernandes on Tuesday said if the Congress claims that the UPA government was taken for a ride by the Governor, it was not fit to rule the country.

"We seek immediate resignation of the Government," Fernandes had said.
