Jatin Tyagi, the sole survivor of Wednesday’s mishap had to appear for an exam of BCA on the dreadful day and had gone out the night before for studying at a friend’s place, his uncle Satish Tyagi told HT.

“There is a serious injury on his head and spinal cord. His ribs are also broken. Doctors have not given any confirmation so far. He is kept on ventilator,” said Satish.
Tyagi family who stays in Delhi’s Andrews Ganj area got to know of the news at 5:15am when someone on the Expressway who saw the mangled car with four people inside called on their landline phone.
“That time we didn’t even know that he was the lone survivor and all three had died,” his uncle said. “We didn’t know how he had reached Gurgaon,” added Satish.
