New chief for Delhi NCP

Senior leader R R Das was has been appointed as the working president of Delhi unit of Nationalist Congress Party.

Senior leader R R Das was on Wednesday appointed as the working president of Delhi unit of Nationalist Congress Party.

The appointment came in the backdrop of its president Ramvir Singh Bidhuri resigning from the party and joining Congress.

The decision was taken by party president Sharad Pawar along with the General secretary and incharge of Delhi wing, Tariq Anwar, a statement said.

Das is a former Vice President of NCP's Delhi unit.
