New Guns N' Roses album due in autumn

Lead singer Axl Rose of the band Guns 'N Roses made a rare appearance on radio and promised fans that the group's much awaited new album called Chinese Democracy will be released at the end of 2006.

According to Contactmusic, the album's release has been delayed many times in the past but Rose now insists that the album is all done and ready for release.

Rose was on the radio with host Sebastian Bach, the former lead singer of Skid Row.

During the chat Rose could be heard playing new songs in the background. He said: "It (album) will be out this year."
