All of 19, Deepika Padukone has her fundas right -- a level head on her shoulders and the right attitude. OK, so she made waves as the Liril girl, but besides the Liril ad there's much more to her.

Following in the footsteps of her champion father Prakash Padukone, Deepika started playing badminton early and was a national level player by Class X. But it seems she was destined to be a model. "I wanted to be a model but took it seriously at the behest of my best friend's model coordinator mom," she says.

She now is the brand ambassador of Limca and is also one of the promising models participating in the LIFW.

Modelling, she says, is not a matter of chance but of choice. "I am selective about the assignments I do. And then my parents are always there to guide me," says the Bangalore girl.
