Nine BJP supporters were killed and two injured when their jeep fell into a gorge after being hit by a landslide in Rangaon village, police said on Tuesday.

Nine BJP supporters were killed and two injured when their jeep fell into a gorge after being hit by a landslide in Rangaon village, police said on Tuesday.
The accident took place on Monday when 11 people were going for an election-related programme in Didihat in the district, deputy superintendent of police Amit Srivastava said.
He said a big stone rolling from the hillocks during a landlside hit the jeep passing through the village following which it fell into the gorge.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
