Nine suspected swine flu patients, including one positive case, were discharged on Monday from Nashik Civil Hospital, an official said.

Twenty-seven suspected swine flu cases were undergoing treatment at isolation wards of the civil hospital. Nine of them, including one positive case, were discharged after their health improved, medical officer Tarasingh Chavan told PTI.
“We have not yet received test reports of these nine patients, but discharged them after they recovered,” he said.
Remaining 18 patients showing swine flu like symptoms are under observation, district civil surgeon, Dr AD Bhalsingh said.
According to collector office sources, four suspected cases of swine flu were being treated at Nashik Municipal Corporation-run Dr Zakir Hussain Hospital, taking the total number of suspected cases to 22.
A 28-year-old doctor had succumbed to the disease here on August 13.
