Nitish murder case: SC notice to Vishal Yadav

The Supreme Court issued notice to Vishal Yadav on a plea seeking cancellation of regular bail granted to him by the Delhi HC.

The Supreme Court on Monday issued notice to Vishal Yadav, an accused in the Nitish Katara murder case, on a petition seeking cancellation of regular bail granted to him by the Delhi High Court in October 2005.

A Division Bench of Justice K G Balakrishnan and Justice PP Naolekar asked Vishal to file reply to the SLP filed by NCT, Delhi within three weeks.

The Court also issued notice to Vishal on a separate petition filed by Neelam Katara, the mother of the deceased. Neelam has also sought cancellation of the regular bail granted to Vishal, nephew of former Rajya Sabha MP DP Yadav.

DP Yadav's son, Vikas, also an accused in the case, is in jail.
