Speaking to reporters after meeting Prime Minister-designate Singh at his residence this morning, Dikshit asserted that the state government was committed to making Delhi one of the best cities in the world within the next two years.

"Now I expect all speedbreakers in the way of Delhi's development to be removed," the Chief Minister said.

Ruling out that there would be two power centres in the party, she said, "the relationship between Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh is very good. There will not be any friction."
