The Pakistan High Commission in Sri Lanka has denied that there are Pakistanis in the island who are advising Sri Lanka on military matters.
"We categorically deny the presence of any Pakistani military advisors or personnel in Sri Lanka," a statement from the mission said on Friday.
"It is a fabrication of extreme proportions," it stressed.
There had been reports of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) personnel advising the Sri Lankan Air Force (SLAF) on their bombing missions in the Tamil-speaking North East in past few months.
B Raman, a former top Indian intelligence officer who heads a think tank in Chennai, has been alleging that PAF personnel are teaching Lankan pilots how to use bunker busting bombs to kill the LTTE's Supremo Velupillai Prabhakaran.
