"I am confident. I have no problems", he told reporters when asked if he was confident of opening against Australia.

"Whatever the team decides, we go by it. If the team wants me to open, I will open. If the team wants me to play down the order, I will play down the order", he said.

Ganguly had said recently that whoever — Yuvraj or Akash Chopra — plays well in the four-day practice match between India Seniors and India A would get the nod to open the innings along with Virender Sehwag.

Playing for India Seniors, Yuvraj made 14 in the first innings, while Chopra scored 18.
