West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee on Saturday alleged that the Railway Ministry was making false promises of new projects as those had no financial provision.

"No railway factory will come up in West Bengal as there is no financial provision for the same. Only foundation laying ceremonies and advertisements will not do," he told a rally.

"I would urge the youth not to hold job promises by the Railways as true," he said.
