A South African model and Bollywood aspirant, who says she was raped by two men in India, now claims that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is keen to work with her. But the famed filmmaker has rubbished the claim.

In an interview with a South African newspaper, 'Reshma Khan' whose real name is withheld due to the rape trial is quoted as saying that Bhansali has offered her a role.

But Bhansali, who is ready to go on the floors with his Ranbir-Sonam Kapoor romance "Saavariya", said: "Who's Reshma Khan? I haven't even heard of her, let alone met her."

When enlightened about her alleged rape case in Mumbai, Bhansali said: "Oh yeah, I had heard about her. But I have never offered her any role. Please! What role will I offer her?"

This categorical disclaimer might even put a question mark on Reshma's other tall claim in the interview - that she's dating "a top Bollywood actor".

"There's no film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, no top actor dating her. These are all figments of her imagination. Poor thing," said a sceptical young actor.

Incidentally, Vikram Bhatt intends to make a film on Reshma's alleged rape. However, he has no plans of casting Reshma in the lead.

Two men have been charged with spiking her drink and then raping her at a Mumbai hotel in December last year.
