North MP in grip of cold wave

THE NORTHERN parts of the State are in grip of severe cold wave with the temperature plunging well below normal. In other parts of the State too, both day and night temperatures dropped sharply.

Gwalior, Chambal, Rewa and Hoshangabad divisions are facing cold wave conditions and temperature in Gwalior and Khajuraho plummeted to 3.0 degrees on Sunday. Bhopal also experienced one of the coldest days with
minimum temperature going down to 7.4 degrees.

The days are also quite cold all over the State with maximum temperatures remaining well below normal. Director of the Regional Meteorological Centre Dr D P Dubey said that the cold wave conditions would persist for at least another two days
