He is Mumbai’s 11th and the state’s 14th confirmed swine flu case.
“We have put him on Tamiflu. He is doing fine,” said Dr Pradeep Awate, head of the state influenza cell.
The NRI had landed in Mumbai on Tuesday and cleared the check-up counter set up to screen passengers.
But after reaching his relative’s house, he complained of high fever, headache and throat irritation and checked into the isolation ward at Kasturba Hospital on the same evening.
Three people were admitted to Kasturba Hospital and Pune’s Naidu Hospital for suspected swine flu-like symptoms.
