OEF products: Stress on quality

This was stated by General Manager of Ordinance Equipment Factory (OEF) SD Dimri, while addressing the gathering on the occasion of Ordinance Factory (OF) Day on March 18. The OF Day celebration in OEF Kanpur commenced with the hoisting of OF flag by Dimri.
He exhorted the employees to improve the quality of products to establish the OEF brand in the international ordinance market. To achieve quality and improved work environment, Dimri stressed on the adoption of the principles of 5 S and TPM at the floor shop.
Interacting with newsmen on the occasion, Dimri said, “The factory is committed to achieve assigned targets within the stipulated time frame.” He added that the factory had well-established security procedures and was aware of its responsibility towards the society.
On the occasion, OE and P Fys Hospital opened a new physiotherapy centre for the benefit of employees and their family members. Additional Director General Ordinance Factories, OEF Group Headquarters, Kanpur, Ramesh Chandra inaugurated the centre.
An exhibition displaying the range of products in the factory was also organised. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Vice President of AIWWA Rajbala Chandra, President of WWA OE and P fys branch, senior officers of OEF and OPF and workers representatives.
Dr ER Rao, PMO (SG) I/C OE and P factories combined Hospital welcomed the guests.
