"The repair of all roads within urban limits and the construction of new ones will be the INLD's priority," party state president Ashok Arora said this in a release on Wednesday. Special measures would be taken to ensure the safety of people's life and property, he said.

He said that the manifesto would stress on the upgrade of the electrical system on streets by installing mercury lights, improvement in the drinking water facility, sewerage system and constructing garbage-treatment plants.
