One LeT militant surrenders with arms in Doda

A militant of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba on Friday surrendered along with arms to the army in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The militant has been identified as Shabir Ahmed alias Umar, a resident of Katihass village in Doda district, a police spokesman said in Jammu.

He handed over a .303 barrel rifle, one .303 magazine and 74 rounds of ammunition to the army.
