Painting contest held at RMNH

REGIONAL MUSEUM for Natural History (RMNH) organised a painting competition for mentally challenged students on the occasion of ?World Day for Water? here today. Nearly 185 students of Miriam School for the mentally- handicapped participated in the competition.

REGIONAL MUSEUM for Natural History (RMNH) organised a painting competition for mentally challenged students on the occasion of ‘World Day for Water’ here today. Nearly 185 students of Miriam School for the mentally- handicapped participated in the competition.

According to a release, eight best participants in the senior and junior categories would be awarded with prizes and certificates of merit.

The students in their paintings expressed concern for water conservation in view of the acute shortage of water. The principal and staff of the school also participated in the competition and ensured contribution to conserve water.
The paintings of the participants would be put on display at the museum from April 1.
