Pakistan is "firmly committed" to improving relations with India and wants to resolve peacefully all outstanding issues, including Kashmir, President Pervez Musharraf said.

The Pakistan President extended greetings to his Indian counterpart APJ Abdul Kalam on the eve of the Republic Day.
"Pakistan remains firmly committed to the improvement of relations with India," Musharraf said in a message to Kalam.
"It is my sincere hope that the two countries would be able to resolve all outstanding issues including Jammu and Kashmir peacefully through the ongoing composite dialogue," he said.
Musharraf, in the message, extended warm felicitations to the government and people of India.
