During his last term as chief minister, Parrikar had sanctioned the construction of the building, which was rented out to INOX to run a multiplex, as a part of infrastructure for the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

But after losing power, he had faced allegations of misappropriation of funds in the project. He had said he would not enter the building until his name was cleared.

"You cannot call it a vow. But I had decided I won't go to INOX till I was given a clean chit," Parrikar told PTI today.

Last year, CBI said there was no case against the BJP leader.

Parrikar watched Konkani film `Digant', the only local film that was screened in the ongoing IFFI, at the multiplex yesterday.
