IT HAS been two days since Abhishek, who was abducted from Patna, was found at Bhopal railway station. The cops are clueless about how the boy, student of Don Bosco School, Patna, was brought to Bhopal.

The police are waiting for him to gain full consciousness. He is still in semi-conscious state and looks weak, said his brother-in-law Chandan Kumar, who lives in Bhopal.

“Though Abhishek has begun responding to the voices, he hasn’t recognised his father yet,” he added. There is a steady improvement in Abhishek’s condition, Kumar said. According to doctors, the boy had yet to overcome the trauma. They hope that he would be able to speak by Sunday evening.

Meanwhile, the police are trying to unravel the mystery how abductors managed to bring the boy to Bhopal so fast. “He couldn’t be brought by a train with his hands and feet tied,” says an RPF official investigating the case. “We are all waiting for him to gain consciousness so that his statement could be recorded,” added the officer.
