PCS(J): Lawyers to meet CM for age relaxation

A GROUP of advocates has demanded that maximum age limit in the state judicial services should be enhanced from 35 to 40. This will give a fair chance to all those candidates who could not appear in the examination due to non-holding of this examination for few years.

The meeting of advocates, held under the presidentship of Avnindra Kumar Mishra, vice-president, which was conducted by Manoj Kumar Mishra, joint secretary, of High Court Bar Association, said that this enhancement had already been done by the other states.

Further, they demanded that all candidates who were eligible for last two years, be permitted to appear at the forthcoming state judicial services examination.

The lawyers, attending the meeting, decided that a delegation of advocates would meet the chief minister during his forthcoming visit to Allahabad and would apprise him the problems being faced by the PCS (J) aspirants.
