Hardships are being faced by poor people all over the state, due to the doctors' strike and this speaks volume about the insensitivity of the coalition regime, a PDP spokesman said on Friday and asked the government to immediately solve problems of the agitating doctors.
"Poor patients from the state have been bearing the brunt of casual approach being adopted by the government in solving basic issues," he said and regretted that situation has already taken an ugly turn due to the strike of the doctors but government seems to be unconcerned of the prevailing situation.
Health services remained paralysed all over the state for the fifth consecutive day on Friday with indefinite strike by government doctors, demanding revision in their pay packages.
