Delivering the keynote address at the concluding session, Prof Ram Avtar Agrawal underlined the changes occurred on solar system after explosion of Big Bang. He said that 25 per cent reduction in sunrays reaching to earth was registered due to pollution and called upon the people to check the misuse of natural gift and to keep the environment free from pollution. Presiding over the session, vice-chancellor Prof Arun Kumar expressed thanks to all the participants. He said it was a historical day for the university when galaxy of scientists was present here.
Prof Kaushal Kumar, Dr DK Singh, Prof CPM Tripathi and many others also expressed their views and threw light on World Health Organisation report in which it had been said that 12.5 per cent population of India suffered from mal-nutrition and incidence of child morality was highest in our country .
They stressed the need of awareness for putting a barrier over misused of natural resources including underground water and said excess used of pesticides have created various problems.
