The 27-year-old singer has been making regular visits to Homerton Hospital in East London which specialises in mental health and addiction problems.

The Kate Moss's ex told doctors that he believes his problems started from his estrangement from his father, a strict Army major.

"He is being given counselling and anti-depressants. He believes this is the way forward," the Sun quoted a friend as saying.

The singer was recently arrested on suspicion of stealing a car and possession of class A drugs.
