Legendary rockers Pink Floyd have been inducted into a Playboy magazine's Hall of Fame for their "unprecedented combined commercial and musical gravitas".
The British band led the way in the newly-announced 2005 Music Awards, listed in the latest issue of Playboy magazine.
According to the magazine, the group are "Godfathers of acid and prog rock, ambient music," adding the band is "so integral to the fabric of modern rock 'n' roll", reports Ratethemusic.
