Thousands Join Pahandi Ritual as Bahuda Yatra Begins in Puri| Jagannath| Rath Yatra

Puri witnessed a grand spiritual spectacle as thousands of devotees gathered for the Bahuda Yatra, the return journey of Lord Jagannath to the Shri Jagannath Temple from the Gundicha Temple. The procession began with the traditional 'Pahandi' ritual, as the deities were ceremonially carried amid chants, devotional songs and massive crowds of devotees. The annual return journey is one of the most significant events of the Jagannath Rath Yatra festival, drawing pilgrims from across India and beyond to Puri.
