Plane carrying 14 crashes in Quito
A plane carrying 14 people crashed on Friday in the southern Ecuadorean city of Cuenca.
"The plane crashed against a tire factory in an industrial park near the airport at 11:40 am (16:40 GMT)," Red Cross spokesman Galo Verdugo said.
Witnesses told local radio stations that factory workers were fortunately having lunch in another area when the plane hit, and so none of them were injured. The plane was carrying 12 passengers and two crew members, and their condition wasn't immediately clear.
