After their tête-à-tête followed by a luncheon meeting at 10 Downing Street, a joint declaration will be issued, the highlight of which will be Singh's initiative giving a boost to the close bilateral ties.
The new initiative envisages taking the Indo-British bilateral relations to a new level.
It will be part of a "future strategy" for the next ten years in which the two countries will closely cooperate in countering terrorism, dealing with climate change, conflict resolution and the fight against weapons of mass destruction.
Britain considers India as one of the strategic partner along with Russia, China and Japan.
Before his talks with Blair, Manmohan Singh will address Chief Executives Officers of leading industries in Britain and meet a delegation of Labour Friends of India on Monday morning.
Later he leaves for New York to address the UN General Assembly.
