Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Sunday expressed happiness at the rescue of five-year-old Prince who was trapped in a pit in a village in Haryana since Friday, and offered 'full medical care' to him.
Singh sent his best wishes to Prince and his family, a PMO spokesman said shortly after the boy was lifted out from the narrow 60-foot uncovered pit dug for a tubewell into which he had accidentally fallen while playing.
Singh, who had been kept informed about the efforts to rescue the boy, earlier said the government would "take full medical care" of him.
