“There were thousands of crores given by the prime minister to Punjab but the SAD-BJP government paid no heed to proper utilisation of money and diverted central funds to less important tasks,” she told a rally in Gurdaspur.

“Pardhan Mantri jo is dharti ke sapoot hain, unhone Punjab ko bahut diya, lekin Punjab sarkaar ne sab barbaad kar diya (The PM, who is son of the soil, gave a lot to Punjab but the state government destroyed everything).”

She blamed the government for “wasting enormous amounts” on sangat darshans (congregations for doling out monetary favours).
