PM to meet Mahajan's family

Mahajan succumbed to multiple organ failure on May 3 after being shot at by his youngest brother Pravin.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would meet bereaved family members of BJP leader Pramod Mahajan at the late leader's residence in Mumbai on Friday.

Manmohan Singh would arrive at the residence of Mahajan at around 2.30 pm and meet the late leader's mother Prabhavati, widow Rekha, son Rahul, daughter Poonam and brother-in-law and BJP leader Gopinath Munde and other family members, BJP sources told PTI in Mumbai on Friday.

Mahajan succumbed to multiple organ failure on May 3 after being shot at by his youngest brother Pravin on April 22.
