Police nab Dawood's woman aide

An alleged woman operative of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's gang was arrested by Mumbai police in New Delhi, a top police official said on Saturday.

Praveen Sultana (45), allegedly working for Dawood, was taken into custody from her residence at Bagikhana in old city by a team of Mumbai police on Friday, the official said.

Fake currency worth lakhs of rupees was seized, he said.

She was taken to Mumbai for further interrogation.

The arrest of an alleged Dawood henchman Shadur Rehman recently in Mumbai led to the arrest of Sultana with the help of local police, the official added.
