He instructed health department officials present on the occasion to ensure polio drops to each and every child up to five years of age to restrict polio.
According to an official release Chouhan also stressed on taking seriously the house-to-house campaigns to be conducted on January 8 and 9 to administer drops to the remaining children.
State Health Department Principal Secretary Madan Mohan Upadhyaya and Health Commissioner Dr Rajesh Rajora apprised the Chief Minister in detail about the progress concerning pulse polio campaign.
Director Health Dr Yogiraj Sharma, state vaccination officer Dr A N Mittal, Bhopal district Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr B S Ohri, civil surgeon Dr D K Verma and pediatrician Dr A K Chowdhary were also present on the occasion, the release added.
