Naga Nationalist Party candidate Valley Rose on Monday withdrew her nomination paper from Outer Manipur Lok Sabha constituency leaving six contestants in the fray, state election officials said.

The six candidates for Outer Manipur seat were Loli Adanee (BJP), Holkhomang Haokip (NCP), Kim Gangte (Manipur People's Party), Morung Mokunga (Nationalist Trinamool Congress), Rosang Zuala (JD-U) and Mani Cheranamei (independent), the sources said.
Elections to Outer Manipur will be held in the first phase on April 20, official sources said adding that today was the last date for withdrawal of nomination papers for this parliamentary seat.
The other Lok Sabha seat of the state, Inner Manipur, would go to poll on April 26 for which the last date of submission of nomination papers was fixed on April 7.
