The party claimed that A C Neilsen, which supplied the data, had disassociated itself from the projection.

The agency had only done the field work and supplied the material to the news channel, Congress spokesperson Kapil Sibal said. The projection is by ndtv and not A C Neilsen

NDTV version President and editor-in-chief of NDTV Prannoy Roy said there was no change in the methodology and sample design used in making the forecast on the basis of the survey carried out by A C Nielsen
