Ira Singhal, a physically challenged IRS officer, topped the prestigious civil services examination.

Apart from Ira, Renu Raj, Nidhi Gupta and Vandana Rao were the other four women toppers with Suharsha Bhagat being the sole male in the top five. Three of the toppers – Singhal, Gupta and Rao – are from Delhi.

Can this be taken as an indicator of spiraling success graph of women candidates in the prestegious examination?
