Talking to Hindustan Times, MP State Electricity Board Officers Employees Coordination Committee convener Sanjay Malviya said that if the Board did not arrive at any amicable solution by February 25, the agitating officers and employees might proceed on strike.

And, if still nothing were done, the officers and employees of Board would resort to blackout in the entire State. The future course of action would be decided at Jabalpur on February 25 informed Malviya.

He further said that delay on the part of Board in wage revision, which was due since 1999, had adversely affected the efficiency of the Board.

Officers and employees from Indore, Khandwa, Khargone, Dhar and Jhabua participated in the rally.
