A powerful bomb was on Monday recovered from a roadside area in Singjamei in Imphal, Manipur.

A powerful bomb was on Monday recovered from a roadside area in Singjamei in Imphal West district of Manipur, official sources said.

Sources said bomb experts later defused the bomb which was reportedly planted by militants to attack security or police personnel passing through Singjamei area, about 4 kms south-west of Imphal.
