The Congress on Wednesday declined to comment on allegations by Pravin Mahajan, accused of killing BJP leader and his brother Pramod Mahajan, that former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had ignored illegal activities in the official residence of the party MP, saying it was a "family matter."
The ruling party, however, expressed concern over the "impact of narcotics on the youth."
"It is a family matter of Pramod Mahajan who is no more. We will not like to comment on it but this trend towards narcotics should be controlled as it has an impact on our youth," party spokesperson Jayanti Natarajan told reporters in New Delhi.
