Additional city magistrate (III) and officer in charge of personnel for election duty RN Bajpai said that presiding officers I, II and III for poll duty have been detailed and notices were being served to the people concerned.
The detailing of duties of other supporting staff was under progress and would be completed soon.
Bajpai informed that the first phase of training for polling parties, to be held in batches, would be imparted between October 17 and October 19.
The final training for the polling parties would be imparted between October 27 and October 29. Besides, the polling parties would also be handed over stationery and other supporting material required for their election duty.
But, their placement of duty would be disclosed only on October 30, just one day prior to the polling. On the same day, they would be handed the ballot boxes and other necessary equipment. Thereafter, they would be asked to take requisite transport for their polling stations.
