R.N. Mishra, Deputy Superintendent of Police, said Hardesh Gupta lodged an FIR against the principal of Active People Academy for beating his son Harsh. “He stated that on Thursday after being absent from school for two days when his son Harsh, who studies in Class I, went to school he was slapped and beaten up by principal Nagesh Sharma. He suffered injuries,” the DSP added.

He said that Sharma told the police that the student was “creating nuisance and roaming around in the corridor”.

“He said his intention was not to hurt him,” Mishra added.
